  • Meelerahu (Peaceful Mind): Meelerahu is a self-help group which was founded in 1991 within a psychiatric hospital, and was registered as an independent NGO in 1999.   • NGO Davy: Founded in October 1998 in Tartu, NGO Davy is a voluntary union of mental health service users and ex-users. The purpose of NGO Davy is to support self-created activities of people suffering from mental disorders. NGO Davy encourages people to improve their functioning by providing courses and maintaining self-help groups, setting up various projects, organising events for better use of leisure time, and cooperating with similar organisations. We currently conduct lectures for mental health professionals and participate in creating mental health policy of Estonia. We are keen to help other users and ex-users of Estonia to create self-help groups.
